Muscular dystrophy canada

Muscular dystrophy is a cause that is very close to our hearts. This disease grieved our family when we learned that our 15-year-old nephew Maverick has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It’s hard to work on building a company that promotes mobility while watching the consequences of a disease that leads to immobility.

As a company we have chosen to support this cause, we will give part of the contributions raised during our Crowdfunding campaign. And will continue to contribute over the years.

In addition, we are proud to have had the biggest team at the Défi Gratte-Ciel 2019. Perhaps you will be there for the next challenge?

WE SUPPORT INNOVATIVE RESEARCH IN THE QUEST TO FIND A CURE FOR NEUROMUSCULAR DISORDERS. In general, neuromuscular disorders are progressive, causing the muscles to gradually weaken over time. People diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder may lose the ability to do things that are often taken for granted, like brushing their teeth, feeding themselves or climbing stairs. Some people will lose the ability to walk or breathe on their own. Neuromuscular disorders don’t discriminate. All they really care about is robbing you of muscle strength, making it hard to run, play, communicate and remain independent. They may progress quickly, or very slowly. For some individuals, the disorder is fatal. Currently, there is no cure.
